Caerwych

Caerwych farmSELF CATERING. The traditonal, stone, Farmhouse is in the middle of our 240 acre working hill farm, surrounded by ancient wooded valleys. It is "secluded", but accessable at the end of its own good, steep, road. in the foothills of the Rhinog range of Mountains, one of the most unspoilt and beautiful areas of the Snowdonia National Park, and enjoys absolutely stunning views down to the Dwyryd  Estuary, across to Portmeirion, and beyond to the Lleyn Peninsula. This is an ideal place for Walkers and Naturalists, and for families seeking  "away from it all" holidays, yet at the heart of a particularly beautiful area of Welsh speaking Wales, with all the interests that might be wanted- sea bathing, beaches, climbing, Castles etc..

Five bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room, a large living/dining room ( with fine slate floor ), smaller sitting room withT.V., kitchen ( electric), and spacious larder, sleeps up to nine, with extra cots, camp beds available. We also have available, pitched by the Farmhouse, a  fine 24 foot ( that s large ) North American Tipi that will sleep six or more, has its fireplace internally, with cloak-room facilities nearby for its users, or for families wanting to bring a tent of their own, which we welcome..

We have grazing, stabling, an Indoor School, and there are excellent riding out possibilites from Caerwych into the mountain areas around, which we could arrange to be accompanied.
